From CMT.com: "A record label spokeswoman confirms that Mary Chapin Carpenter married contractor Timmy Smith June 1 in Batesville, Va. Rock musician Dave Matthews and actress Sissy Spacek were among the guests in attendance, and recording artist Robin Williams (Robin & Linda Williams) performed the ceremony. The couple is on honeymoon somewhere in the U.S." Chapin joined an all female bluegrass band called The Boom Chicks for a special performance at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival -- read about it here. Rumor has it that Chapin has recorded an album of her favorite songs by other artists...no word on a street date...
