The show was wonderful, John played several new tunes as well as two Beatles tunes, and "The Thought of You" by Ray Noble (Billie Holiday recorded it - it was used in "Forever Young" with Mel Gibson). A typical John show - wonderful music, a great voice, and good fun with the witty rambling in between songs.
The first two songs after the break he played the piano, the next three he played on the Berkowitz baritone, all the rest were on the Gibson EC 10. John is now sporting a goatee, looks very distinguished. He had a few false starts with words, getting promoting on "The Thought of You" from someone in the audience, but he was typical John. Great guitar playing with witty repartee. He said the new CD is slated for release in the fall.
